NBA 2K11 Is Surely The Most Realistic Sports Game
When you buy and play the game you're greeted with something basketball game players have never seen for quite some time, Jordans gracing the screen. It has not been since the last time that this Chicago Bulls have won a title that Jordan means his likeness in a game.
By moving the nearly everywhere stick using motions in conjunction with button presses that behave as modifiers, there is a large numbers of animations and moves the players are capable of doing on the court. These moves mimic the moves made by the genuine life players then when combined with a complete graphical representation of this actual player and the moves they certainly in real life, there exists none better.
Playing the action is compared to in recent releases. And in all actuality whatever just isn't broke it's not necassary to bother trying to fix. As well as the movement controls of history several years of 2K basketball titles have been working great. They really hit the nail on the head if they came up with the Isomotion control scheme.
The action features live statistics that connect with the Playstation Network to gain usage of the true NBA scores and stats. Every time you turn the game on you are able to see what went down over the last week of real NBA action. It provides a feel of realism towards the game and also the player. That's what exactly people want in the simulation style sports game, realism.
The action excels in every aspect. The graphical design with the players really ensures they are appear to be their actual counterparts, even as a result of each persons individual tattoo's. They got everybody in the game too, in the major stars to ever little guy that you probably have not even heard of before.
This is the winner for the critics too. They want to begin to see the deep stats, the TV style presentation and the game commentators that won't repeat themselves through each game. There are some phrases you will here again and again, but much of them you do not hear way too many times. It gives you the sensation that you are watching an actual game in the media.
Overall Nba 2k11 has finally end up being the game which it happens to be hyped being. Year after year it was claimed to be the top game ever but never really attained that level. But with this years game they have done exactly that. It is now the best basketball game ever made.

The Updating Of NHL Games For Xbox & Playstation Game Consoles Today
When lots of people who have at some point been games console players look back at their youth, then it seems so great back then. Every little thing as a child seemed bigger and better than when you grow up. That is of course apart from sports and NHL games for Xbox & Playstation game consoles. In the last thirty years we have been privileged to benefit from the advances in technology.
You don't see any kids these days that could get excited about pushing a little white dot around the screen that is supposed to be a puck. The matchstick men that were supposed to resemble a fully padded out Ice hockey player have gone too. Kids still want to play games that they perceive as fun though.
The problem that has prevailed over the years is that while the ability of computer graphic artists and programmers increased, the consoles were behind. Now though, we are at a stage where the technology has gone so far that our ability to use it is lagging behind. But it matters little about which is better, graphics or game play, the game player of today wants it all. The greatest games ever played were not great because they were visually stunning even if they really were. They were played over and over because people enjoyed playing them. Having a really great and playable game is much more fun than looking at something that is just pretty and can hardly move. While both of these games had the very best levels of playability, they really paid little attention to detail with the presentation. The genius that invented either of those really understood what makes people tick. Sadly their talents will be missed but they paved the way forward for sports and action games makers. Now Hockey games are particularly entertaining on any games platform because they combine control, timing and quick perception. These are all vital components in any entertaining sports game. Thankfully there are many talented programmers working hard to produce something that they also like.
It's the clever people who make the games that have made sports games of today such as hockey, look good and still keep the game play of the games of old. They realized a long time ago that your couldn't just paint a pretty picture on the screen, you had to actually let the player live it too. They now know that there is no point in releasing a game on to the market that is not up to speed. Especially not when the game in question is carrying the NHL brand.
People and especially the younger generation of today are extremely luck to be able to play NHL games for Xbox & Playstation game consoles the way that they do. So much has been done over years of development that it's hard to comprehend what early games were like. Suffice to say they were cumbersome at best.

A Short NBA Live 2010 10 Game Review For PlayStation And Xbox
The following is an NBA Live game review for PlayStation and Xbox. One of EA Sport's most popular PlayStation and Xbox games is NBA Live. Numerous basketball video games are released each year and NBA Live's version seems to always be among the main front runners. The last edition is no different with its user input, animations, and high quality graphics. The last NBA Live version has received positive reviews.
NBA Live 2010 featured additional jerseys, a first for the franchise. Throwback jerseys from the 1980s and 1990s were added in as well as several alternate ones for a number of teams. Using special codes, even more uniforms and shoes can be unlocked. It is unsure if every team will receive new game jerseys but two codes have been announced so far and more are likely to come. The animations in this version received a major overhaul too. The video game boasts faster and more fluid graphics that allow for ultimate play. Details like the in game graphics and basketball courts were made to appear extremely real. It is a little grainy when zoomed in on some screens but overall looks very well.
Other smaller graphics like the background and the players are more detailed as well. Unlike previous installments, this year's NBA Live game has a much more realistic background. The members of the crowd were designed to look more real and lifelike. Even the players themselves were give more exact and personal details such as tattoos, hairstyles, and other accessories. The basketball stars in this edition were made to be more easily recognized than previous ones. NBA Live 10's controls were changed slightly so that it is not essential to control the athletes every second of the game. Playing in the auto mode can end in many turnovers though. For users who desire to, it is very easy to expand the control to cover the athletes.
The game play is simple enough so that even people who have never played a basketball game can quickly get the hang of it. Actions like shooting and passing are both single button functions. And both the Xbox and PlayStation controllers use the right joy stick to move the basketball players. Playing defense is simple as well, simply position your player near one from the other team and he will do the rest automatically.
The player's DNA update of the past games' system has improved significantly as well. This year's edition updated the DNA of individual player's attributes and tendencies instantly. This game also will allow its users to play games as they happen almost as fast in real life. With the teams' line ups and game rosters instantly updating in this game, the Dynasty Mode is much more advanced and realistic. The soundtrack was updated and revamped for this version to include more current bands and artists. There are more songs this year and that cuts down drastically on the music's redundancy during the game and training mode. They were programmed to change and react to the beat of the games.
FIFA Soccer Games For XBox And Playstation - The Developments And Growth
Electronic Arts has always had an ace up its sleeve with their FIFA license. From 1993, they gained the FIFA license to published and develop FIFA-based games. Up until the present, they still maintain this license and have grown the franchise to be one of the biggest football games in existence. It has seen phenomenal improvements since its first iteration and the player base has grown substantially. While there are other competitors in the field, the FIFA license gives them a leg-up over them and provides their FIFA soccer games for XBox and Playstation a much higher success rate due to success and credibility.
2006 - FIFA 07
The first FIFA game to touch the XBox 360, it marked the refinement of the franchise. It stripped down the available teams and instead focused on the four European leagues as well as the Mexican Clausura and national teams. The atmosphere has also been dramatically improved with the crowd now reacting in a more human manner. They will react to the different events throughout the game, the crowd will be local to the region where the match is taking place and there will also be differing sizes of support, such as a small part of the crowd cheering away, while the rest is home.
2007 - FIFA 08
FIFA 08 furthers the online portions of the game, keeping in line with the growth of the multiplayer market. Online cooperative play and player vs player interactive leagues are now available online, allowing players to choose their league and team to compete against a real player. This was refined with the ability to carry out trick moves. Additional gameplay additions include 'Be a Pro Mode', which gives the players the ability to play a match as only a single player in the team, besides the goalkeeper. Overall, the game also sees a decrease in the speed of each match.
FIFA 09
Containing perhaps the largest assortment of improvements from any of the FIFA games, this one contains hundreds, according to the game's producer. An addition to the gameplay is the responsiveness refinement, which allows for an increased measure of control over the ball and a new collision system that takes into account the speed, weight and power of the two players that collide. The goalkeeper has also seen its own improvement as they now utilize better positioning, recovery and reactions.
Following even this large assortment of changes, there are further improvements to the weather and time. While in Manager mode, there are no weather effects, but Kick-Off mode allows for rain and snow matches. Dependent on the stadium, matches can be played during the day, dusk or night.
2009 - FIFA 10
The latest in the franchise, FIFA 10 brings about many new additions to the Manager Mode that many players have welcomed. A new Assistant Manager can sort out your team for you while you focus on the the larger gameplay. Furthermore, sponsors are less important, while the club's board of directors are more so, due to their ability to dish out whatever wages they feel your team deserves. The Auto-Resolve option for matches now takes into account the team's overall strength, rather than randomly choosing a winner.

Joe Cole interview with Rivalspot: He's the best I've faced
Ask Joe Cole about his battles on the soccer field and you will get answers that invoke memories of famous clashes between English soccer powers.
“It’s always very competitive,” says Cole. “You take intense guys and let them play and that's what happens.”
But rather than say, Chelsea vs. Manchester United or Liverpool vs. Arsenal, Cole isn’t talking about any sort of real-life action on the pitch. Instead, Liverpool’s newest midfielder is referring to heated games of virtual soccer on the Xbox 360 and the Playstation 3.
"Oh yeah," laughs Cole. "We get pretty into it."
Born during the rise of Nintendo and Sega in the 1980s, the 28-year old from London grew up during the perfect time to pick up video games. And like many from that generation, he did just that.
“I’ve been playing since I was a kid,” says Cole, who signed with the Reds this summer. “Especially the sports games, since they are the most competitive.”
That competitive spirit has brought Cole north to Liverpool this season, following five seasons with West Ham United and almost 300 appearances with Chelsea, where he won three Premier League titles and two FA Cups.
Now, after watching the Reds struggle to a seventh-place finish in 2009, he is ready for the challenge of lifting Liverpool back to elite status.
“I wouldn’t have come here if I didn’t believe we were capable of achieving something great,” says Cole of his new home, “I’ve always admired Liverpool as a club and it was time for a change in my career.”
His play on the pitch won’t be the only challenge facing Cole as he prepares for his first season at Anfield. As a video game junkie, he’s also set to take his gaming habits to the screen.
“I’m sure we’ll have at least a few games,” says Cole of challenging his new teammates. “I’m looking forward to seeing who’s the top guy.”
This is nothing new for Cole, who made a habit of playing FIFA and Pro Evolution Soccer tournaments with teammates at Chelsea, while facing off with various members of the England national team.
“It’s a great social thing to do while you’re travelling and living in hotel rooms,” he says. “Someone’s always got a Playstation or an Xbox.”
Cole is personally addicted to both soccer games and, surprisingly, to the boxing titles as well.
“I’ve always enjoyed boxing,” he says, “and it’s crazy having fighters from different eras in Fight Night. I love having someone like Mike Tyson facing Mohammed Ali or Sugar Ray Leonard fighting Ricky Hatton.”
And Cole says he fares better with the boxing titles than with the football games, allowing him to get just a little bit more ambitious.
“I usually win at the boxing and lose at the football,” laughs Cole, “so I only put down wagers with my friends on something like Fight Night.”
When it comes to the soccer titles, though, there has still been plenty of excitement between men more famous for scoring goals on the real-life pitch than on the screen.
“I used to get in heated games with JT (John Terry) because he’s a very competitive player,” says Cole, who then joked that Terry might not be fond of his pick as the best gamer on the English team.
“I think JT would claim he’s the best and he’s very good, but it has to be Shaun Wright-Phillips,” he laughs.
“(Wright-Phillips) is incredible at any game you want to play and you rarely see him without a pad (controller) in his hand, wherever you are, travelling around the world. Practice makes perfect and I hate saying it, but he’s the best.”
As for the upcoming season, Cole will find himself in a promising situation after making the move to Liverpool. Having been presented with the opportunity to play behind superstar striker Fernando Torres, he couldn’t be more excited about his new role.
“I’ve watched and admired Fernando for many years,” says Cole, “and it’s the job of Steven (Gerrard) and me to create as many chances for him as possible.”
Much like a video game character, Torres has thrilled crowds with electrifying goals that don’t quite seem possible, and has Cole salivating at the possibilities for 2010.
“We’re one of the few clubs with a player capable of scoring 30-plus times,” says Cole, “and if he can do that, anything can happen for the club.”
As far as his character in video games, Cole is still tickled to see himself there after many years of FIFA and Pro Ev.
“It’s a funny feeling,” he says of seeing himself on the screen, “but it’s great.”
And asked about his managerial strategy with past teams like Chelsea and England, Cole jokingly admits to a touch of personal bias
“If your morale or fitness isn’t good, it’s still very difficult to drop yourself from the lineup,” he says. “You don’t want to leave yourself out.”
Of course, the ultra-competitive Cole also strays from playing with his real-life teams, wanting the upper hand in talent when he takes to the virtual pitch.
“If you’re playing for a wager, you want the best team,” he says, preferring Barcelona and Spain when he has first choice.
“They’re the easiest to play with,” says Cole of those squads. “You have wingers like Messi and Iniesta and they move the ball really well. I think most people would choose them.”
Cole’s personal playing style certainly works well with either of his favorite teams, as he fashions himself as a “dribbler” in both FIFA and Pro Ev.
“You get some players who pass a lot, but I like to get the ball out wide to the wingers and get crosses into the box,” he says. “That’s the great part about these games, is that everyone plays a different style.”
And being a professional soccer player, Cole’s knowledge of the game is clearly beyond the average fan. Asked about the relationship between real-life matches and an increasingly realistic game of FIFA, he agrees it can be a strong asset.
“You have to set proper formations and know what your team likes to do,” he explains. “If you’re playing with a team that likes to play the long ball you have to use that strategy, and if they like to play short passes, that’s the way to be successful.”
There is plenty of soccer ahead in Cole’s near future, both on the pitch at Anfield and on his widescreen television, as Liverpool’s newest star gets set to tackle his list of challenges that includes turning around the squad and raising a young family in a new town.
“It’s new and exciting,” says Cole of moving his wife and baby daughter, “we’re all getting settled and finding our feet.”
And as for his work on the pitch, the Reds midfielder can’t wait to get started.
“I’m sure given time to settle in,” says Cole, “we can be a great fit, Liverpool and myself.”
Just leave him some time to play his video games at Rivalspot, ok?
